Time doesn't "pass", time arrives. You don't "take" a breath, you receive a breath.

The Healing Arts and Energy Medicine of Tai Chi and Qigong

I was drawn to Tai Chi and Qigong (the slow, gentle movements in standing postures) practicing outside in nature with bare feet on the ground and breathing in fresh air. The sequences I practice balance the energy flow in the body, have healing effects on the organs and immune system, and improve balance and posture. By focusing on the breath and slow movements, the nervous system and mind calm down, and the practice becomes a standing, moving meditation that is relaxing and invigorating at the same time. I enjoy teaching and inspiring others to learn how to activate the healing wisdom inside their own bodies and how to bring more peace, balance and harmony into their lives. A daily practice of simple, slow, gentle movements can bring about profound changes. I have an extensive home library of books on Tai Chi Chuan (Taijiquan, Tai Chi), Qi Gong (Qigong), Chinese medicine, meridians, acupoints, energy medicine and herbalism. I've been studying and practicing Chinese Healing Arts with several masters over the years. - The late Master William Ting, Kuo-Piao - NJ - Brian Coffery, Fran Maher, Patty Pagano - NJ - Dr. Henry McCann - NJ - Chungliang "Al" Huang (Tai Chi Philosophy & Movement) - CA - Peter Holmes (LAc, MH) - CA - Master Robert Peng - NY - Master Mantak Chia - Thailand Master Ting initially sparked my curiosity many years ago, offering gems of insight in his classes and profound teachings in his books. “The late William Ting was an accomplished Tai Chi Master, a highly respected and beloved teacher to many students enrolled in his Silver Tiger Tai Chi classes, workshops and lectures in southern New Jersey. In the Tai Chi community, he gained the esteemed reputation as “ the Teacher’s teacher”, explaining esoteric concepts in simple terms familiar to the western student. He operated his school for over 30 years and has students all over the world. He is the author of two books documenting his knowledge and experience as the closed door student of his Master, Grandmaster Lu Ji Tang of Shanghai, China. He lived and taught what he loved and brought joy to everyone he met."
